We would like to inform you about the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our legal obligation.

General Questions

When you use our website, personal data is collected about you. This can happen when you enter the data yourself - such as your email address. However, our system also records data from you automatically, such as your visit to our website. This happens regardless of which device or software you use to access our website.

Any input of data by you on our website is voluntary; there are no disadvantages for you if you do not disclose your data. However, without certain data it is not possible for us to provide services or conclude contracts.

On this website, the user's personal data is only collected within the framework of the applicable data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The technical terms used in the text are explained in more detail in Art. 4 of the GDPR.

According to the GDPR, data processing is permitted in three cases in particular:

  • pursuant to Article 6 (1)(a) and (7) GDPR, if you have consented to data processing by us; in each case, we will inform you precisely in advance in this data protection declaration and when you give your consent in accordance with Article 4 (11) GDPR why and under what circumstances your data will be processed by us;
  • pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, if the processing of your personal data is necessary for the initiation, conclusion or execution of a contractual relationship;
  • pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, if, after a balancing of interests, processing is necessary to protect our legitimate interests; this includes in particular our interests in analyzing, optimizing and securing the offering on our website - this includes in particular an analysis of user behavior, the creation of profiles for advertising purposes and the storage of access data as well as the use of third-party providers.1

inventory data, usage data and advertising

inventory data

We collect inventory data (e.g. name, address and email address, any services used) to the extent that it is necessary for the establishment, content design or modification of a contractual relationship between us and the user.1

usage data

We also collect usage data (e.g. visits to the website, interest in products) in order to enable and bill the user for the use of the services on our website.

We will only combine usage data if and to the extent that this is necessary for billing purposes. Otherwise, we will only create usage data pseudonymously and only if you have not objected to this. You can send this objection at any time to the address provided in the imprint or to the person responsible named in this data protection declaration.

The legal basis for this data processing is, on the one hand, our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in analyzing the website and its use, and if necessary also the legal permission to store data in the context of initiating a contractual relationship in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Furthermore, every time you use this website, our provider saves information, the so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted by your browser. These are:

  • Your IP address
  • type and version of your browser
  • Hostname
  • time of visit
  • the page from which you visited our site,
  • name of the page accessed,
  • exact time of the call and
  • the amount of data transferred.

This data is used for statistical purposes only and does not allow us to identify you as a user.1

Advertising

Before sending you advertising, we will ask you for your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 4 No. 11 GDPR, unless it is advertising for similar products that you have already purchased. This happens in particular if you give us your consent to send you our newsletter or fill out a contact form.1

consent

If we ask for your consent to process your data, we will inform you in clear language and in an easily accessible manner about the cases in which you are giving your consent. Any consent we ask for is voluntary, and any benefit you would like to obtain by giving consent you can also get without consent, just ask us.

For every consent, you have the right to revoke the consent you have given us to process your personal data at any time. This can be done by sending an informal message, e.g. via our contact form, an email to the email address provided in the imprint or an unsubscribe link (if offered by us). Your revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point. 1

Retention period

Your data will only be stored for as long as the purpose of the respective data processing requires. Further storage will be considered in particular if this is still necessary for us to pursue legal action or for our other legitimate interests or if we are legally obliged to retain your data (e.g. within the framework of tax retention periods, which are generally 6 or even 10 years).1

Cookies

Our website uses cookies as part of our legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offering and its economically efficient design and optimization in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of GDPR so that our offering can be used better, more effectively and more securely. Cookies are text files that are saved on your computer and store certain data about your user behavior on our site so that, for example, an offer can be made that corresponds to your previous use. These can be so-called "session cookies", which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit to our website. However, there are also cookies that are saved permanently on your computer unless you delete them. This enables us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website and to make you offers that correspond to your previous use of our website.

Your browser allows you to prevent the use of cookies in full or in individual cases. Please refer to the operating instructions for your browser for more information. Blocking cookies can limit the functionality of our website and other websites you visit. You can permanently prevent cookies from being saved in your browser by downloading and installing the plug-in linked below. You can find more information about this here.

You can also prevent third parties from using cookies against you by declaring your opt-out on the Network Advertising Initiative deactivation page in accordance with the instructions there. You can find more information here. You can find a similar offer on this US website and on this European service.1

Transfer to third parties

We don't like spam any more than you do. We will therefore not pass on your data to third parties unless this is permitted by law. Your data may be passed on either

  • necessary for the performance of a contract and then permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR or
  • based on our legitimate interest in effective service provision in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR,
  • be covered by a consent given by you or
  • This may become necessary if we are lawfully required by a state or authority to release your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.1

Transfer abroad, especially USA

Our website uses external providers based outside the EU for various functions. Cookies, active Java scripts and other technologies in particular may result in your data being processed and stored outside the EU. However, we will not pass your data on to a third country unless the EU Commission has determined that data protection is comparable to that in the EU or you have given us your informed consent or we have agreed standard contractual clauses with the provider to protect your data. For the USA, the Privacy Shield Agreement

see https://www.privacyshield.gov/welcome

under certain conditions, sufficient data protection has been established again. Further information on your rights in the event of any transfer of data to the USA mentioned below can be found at

http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf 1

Rights of users

Access

You can request information from us at any time and free of charge about the personal data we have stored about you. In order to prevent misuse, your identification is required.1

Deletion, rectification, restriction

You can request that we correct inaccurate data at any time, restrict its processing or delete your data. We will then correct, block or even delete your personal data immediately, unless there are legal reasons to the contrary.1

Data transmission

You can request that we transfer the data stored about you in machine-readable form.1

Compliant

If you feel that your rights have been violated by our data processing, you can lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority (here you will find a list of authorities) to file a complaint.1

Change of privacy policy

If a change to the privacy policy becomes necessary for legal or practical reasons, we will update this page accordingly. This will not change the consent given by the user.1

encryption of data entry

When you enter data on our website, whether on a contact form, when registering, logging in or for payment purposes, the web page on which you enter the data is encrypted. This means that third parties cannot read the data you enter. You can recognize the encryption by the lock symbol in your browser and by the fact that the address line begins with "https" instead of just "http".1

Registration and Payment

If you register on our website to use additional services, the data you enter will be saved for the use of our website and the services we offer. They will also be used to inform you of changes to the range of services offered, updates or technical innovations that are relevant to the use of our website.

The basis for this storage is the processing of data for the purpose of contract execution in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b GDPR and your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a GDPR, which you give us upon registration. You can revoke this consent at any time; an informal message to us is sufficient (e.g. via an unsubscribe link, contact form or email). This revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Your data will remain stored as long as you are registered on our website, the storage is still necessary for the performance/processing of the contract, for legal action by us or for our other legitimate interests, or we are legally obliged to retain your data (e.g. within the framework of tax retention periods).1

Gravatar

Furthermore, WordPress uses Gravatar by default to assign you an avatar if necessary. Your IP address is transmitted in the process. For data protection reasons, we have pseudonymized the Gravatar function here.1

Newsletter

If you order the newsletter offered on our website, we will inform you in detail about what we will inform you about, which of your data will be stored and what it will be used for. We will not pass your data on to third parties and will only use it to send the newsletter.

We will only send you the newsletter if you have given us your prior consent to do so. You will receive an email from us with a link and further information and a request for your consent. If you click on this link, you agree to receive the newsletter and advertising from us.

The basis for storage is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of GDPR, which you give us when you register for the newsletter. You can revoke this consent at any time; an informal message to us is sufficient (e.g. via contact form or email or unsubscribe link in every email). This revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Since we are legally obliged to record your consent as part of the so-called double opt-in, your order for the newsletter, the sending of our consent email and your consent by clicking on the link will be recorded and stored according to place and time as well as with your IP address.

To send the newsletter, we use the provider MailChimp (Rocket Science Group, LLC, 6 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #1, Atlanta, GA 675, USA) from the USA (as part of our legitimate interest in the technically flawless processing of our customer information and analysis in accordance with Art. 5000 Para. 30308 lit. f GDPR).

This means that your data will be exported to the USA, but Mail Chimp is registered with privacy shield and is obliged to comply with EU data protection rules. You can find more information about your rights under this at

http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf.

In addition, we will ask you explicitly in our newsletter to give your consent to send the data to MailChimp and to the USA. By clicking on the link you declare this consent, which you can revoke at any time. For the handling of your data at MailChimp, we refer to the MailChimp privacy policy. MailChimp will only use your data to send the newsletter and to evaluate this mailing on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp will only use your data to improve its own service. However, MailChimp will not use the data to write to you directly or pass your data on to third parties.

The data used by MailChimp contains a "web beacon" that sends to MailChimp when you open the newsletter and/or click on a link contained therein. Information about your browser, your location and your IP address is sent to MailChimp. This information is used to optimize our communication with you.

Our newsletter provider also uses this data, but only in pseudonymous form (i.e. without enabling your identification) to analyze and optimize their own service. However, your data will not be used by them under any circumstances to write to you. Your data will remain stored as long as it is stored in our email list, storage is still required for legal action by us or for our other legitimate interests, or we are legally obliged to store your data.1

Using Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to render our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as: B. Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font. Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible - although currently unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect data. The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.2
